The Women in Business Awards celebrate incredible women who work in Union County, making significant contributions to creating a thriving community. These women excel in their professional, personal and relational spheres, making life better for others.
The Women to Watch awards are given to 3 deserving women between the ages of 21-39 with an impactful future ahead of them in their professional pursuits.

The Women of Influence awards recognize women who have made a significant impact on their place of business and community.

To qualify for either award, nominees must work for Union County Chamber members in good standing.

Awards are presented at the last WIB Luncheon of the year.
October 14, 2026, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Rolling Hills Country Club.

An independent panel of judges chooses recipients.

The Nomination Deadline is July 31, 2026.

When submitting a nomination, please provide specific examples, especially when it comes to the nominee’s volunteer work and professional growth. Union County is home to many incredible women, but these awards are designed to honor those who are truly standing out in their fields and communities. If you’re considering nominating someone but aren’t sure about certain details of their career or service, don’t let that stop you. Just reach out and ask! Most nominees are honored to be considered, and a quick conversation can give you the information you need to submit a strong, thoughtful nomination.

Women to Watch

This award recognizes women between the ages of 21-39 with an impactful future ahead in their professional pursuits. To qualify, the nominee must work for a Chamber member in good standing.

Other criteria include:

» Demonstrates significant achievements and contributions in her professional field

» Proven track record of professional growth and career progression

» Active participation in community service or volunteer work.

» Commitment to continuous learning through professional and personal development

» Contributes time and energy mentoring and supporting others, particularly younger women

Award recipients will be chosen by an independent panel of judges. Recipients will be honored at the Women in Business Awards Luncheon on October 14, 2026.

Previous award recipients are not eligible for nomination in the same award category for five years.

Women of Influence

This award recognizes women who have made a significant impact on their place of business and community. The nominee must work for a Chamber member in good standing.

Other criteria include:

» Demonstrates outstanding achievements and contributions in her professional field

» Highly respected by peers, colleagues, and the community

» Commitment to continuous professional growth through education, certifications, and professional development activities

» Active involvement in a leadership capacity for community services or civic activities

» Encourages and supports the professional development of others, with a focus on women

Award recipients will be chosen by an independent panel of judges. Recipients will be honored at the Women in Business Awards Luncheon on October 14, 2026. Previous award recipients are not eligible for nomination in the same award category for five years.

Nominations are due by Friday, July 31, 2026.
Nominations submitted after that date will not be considered.
