When Nichole Clontz and Tilia Allen opened Norris Medical Practice, they weren’t just launching a business, they were answering a calling.
Friends since nursing school, Nichole and Tilia were both working for the same physician when he encouraged them to take a leap: open their own office and build something that was truly theirs. With years of combined experience and a passion for helping people live healthier, fuller lives, they stepped out on faith and into a fast-growing need.
“Weight loss is always going to be a huge need,” says Nichole. “But we wanted to create something that focused not just on appearance, but on health and helping people feel better, live longer, and take charge of their well-being.”
Today, Norris Medical Practice is in its third year of serving patients across Union County and beyond with services that include:
- Medically managed weight loss
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Thyroid optimization
- Cutting-edge PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatments
- Botox and other regenerative services
What makes their practice different?
For starters, Norris Medical Practice doesn’t take insurance, and that’s intentional. It allows Nichole and Tilia the freedom to offer individualized care without the red tape or limitations often imposed by traditional systems. It also means they can focus on outcomes, not codes. They can deliver customized, highly effective treatments many traditional providers can’t offer.
“We’re constantly learning,” says Nichole. “Medicine evolves quickly. You can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results. Our patients trust us to stay ahead of the curve.”
And that trust is paying off.
One patient came in frustrated after years of unsuccessful weight loss attempts. After uncovering an undiagnosed thyroid issue and making the right adjustments, he went on to lose more than 60 pounds.
“That’s what drives us,” Nichole says. “It’s not just about the scale. It’s about people being able to live without joint pain. It’s about avoiding surgery. It’s about getting off blood pressure meds or sleeping better or having energy again. It’s about giving people their life back.”
Nichole and Tilia are proud to be locally owned and operated. Both women grew up in Union County and are passionate about caring for the community they call home. While they see patients from across the region, including Gastonia and Charlotte, they’re always eager to reach more people right here in their own backyard.
“We’re proud of what we’ve built,” Nichole says. “But more than anything, we’re proud of the lives we’ve been able to impact.”
