At Waste Pro, we believe being a good neighbor means more than picking up the trash on time. It means getting involved, building relationships, and being there for the communities we call home. That is why we are proud to be a member of the Union County Chamber and to be part of a business community that brings local businesses and community leaders together.
Waste Pro provides reliable residential and commercial solid waste and recycling services throughout Union County, serving thousands of customers in the City of Monroe and surrounding communities with dependable trash collection, recycling, and construction debris services. The Union County operation is supported by a dedicated local team and a modern fleet of collection vehicles designed to deliver consistent, on-time service.
For 25 years, Waste Pro has been growing alongside the communities we serve. Founded in 2001 by John J. Jennings, Waste Pro has grown from a single-truck operation into one of the country’s largest privately owned waste collection and recycling companies. Today, we have more than 145 locations across 12 states.

But while the company has grown, our approach has stayed simple: take care of our people, take care of our customers, and take care of our communities.
Here in the Charlotte/Monroe metro area, that commitment starts with our local teams.
Waste Pro’s Charlotte South and Charlotte West divisions are led by industry veteran Ted Goode, who brings years of experience and a strong understanding of the communities we serve.
Our local employees, who live and shop in the neighborhoods they serve, build strong relationships that foster trust and community pride.

And our customers tell us it matters, too. Waste Pro’s Charlotte metro operations have Google ratings above 4.0, reflecting the positive relationships our local teams have built with residents and businesses. Those ratings are also higher than other solid waste providers in the Charlotte metropolitan area. We are proud of that feedback, but we know a good rating is earned one customer and one route at a time.
Waste Pro’s involvement in community events, supporting local organizations, and participating in neighborhood activities shows we value and care about our neighbors.
Supporting local businesses and organizations is vital to us, as they are key to building a strong, thriving community in Union County.

At Waste Pro, we call our approach the Waste Pro Way. It’s pretty simple: From the end of the driveway to the environment, we’re committed to caring. That means caring about the people who wear the Waste Pro uniform, the customers who count on us, and the communities we are fortunate enough to serve.
Our employees are the heart of our company. They are the ones out early every morning, driving the trucks, helping customers, solving problems, and making sure the job gets done.
They also make Waste Pro feel like a local company, even though our footprint extends across 12 states.
As Waste Pro celebrates 25 years, we value the relationships with the Union County Chamber and community members that help us serve better and grow together.
Because at the end of the day, this is more than a place where we do business. It’s a community we are proud to be part of. Waste Pro is proud to call Union County home and proud to be a member of the Union County Chamber.
