Tiffany Weaver is a community leader who inspires by consistently showing up with kindness, sincerity, and a genuine desire to help others feel at home.
After 11 years of service as a Chamber Ambassador, Tiffany is retiring from ambassador service. While her official role may be ending, the impact she has made will continue through the relationships she built, the new members she welcomed, and the people she helped feel they belong.
How It All Began
Tiffany did not initially set out to become one of the Chamber’s longest-serving ambassadors. It started with a simple suggestion.
“I was working for Turning Point, and one of the other employees was an Ambassador,” she shared. “They recommended to our executive director that it would be a great idea if I became an Ambassador. I signed up, and now I’ve been involved for 11 years.”
When Tiffany reflects on her years as an ambassador, it is not just the meetings or events that stand out. It is the moments that made her laugh, taught her something new, or tested her resolve.
One of those moments came during her very first Ambassador outreach call, which happened to be to a radio station.
“When the person picked up the phone, the next thing I hear is, ‘Hi, you’re on the air,’” she laughed. “I literally froze. I didn’t realize I was going to be on the air.”
Another moment has become legendary among those who know her well.
“I was on my way to meet a new member and realized I needed gas,” Tiffany recalled. “As I pulled away, I reached down to pick something up and ran straight into the pole at the gas pump. I tore up the entire right side of my car.”
Still, she did not turn around.
“I finagled it back together, drove to the meeting, apologized for being late, borrowed some tape, taped it up, and we still had the meeting,” she said. That captures Tiffany’s approach to service better than anything else could.
More Than Volunteering
For Tiffany, being an Ambassador was never just a volunteer role. It was deeply personal.
“It has been the best experience I’ve ever really had,” she said. “When I first started working for Turning Point, I realized how important it is to give back to your community. Becoming an Ambassador opened that door for me.”
Through her service, Tiffany came to truly understand Union County and the people who make it special.
“It’s such a great community. It’s like a big family,” she said. “And the Ambassadors are family too. You build real friendships.”
She was also quick to recognize the Chamber staff who work behind the scenes.
“You guys are amazing,” she said. “You really do so much. As ambassadors, we want to help support you and help the chamber flourish.”

What Makes a Great Ambassador
Over the years, Tiffany became a trusted voice on how to connect people and help them feel welcome. Her advice was always simple and rooted in empathy.
“When you go to a networking event, look for someone standing by themselves or sitting quietly,” she explained. “Introduce yourself. Most likely, they’re a new member who doesn’t quite know what to do yet.”
As Tiffany steps back from her ambassador role, she does so with gratitude and reflection.
“The camaraderie and the friendships are priceless,” she said. “I’m going to miss it.”
While this chapter may be closing, her place in the Chamber community is permanent. Anyone who spends 11 years welcoming others has already left a lasting legacy.
Thank you, Tiffany, for showing what service looks like when it is done with heart, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to community.
