Dawn took over ownership of Edible in Monroe in 2024. Her journey to ownership started with a coupon. “Nine years ago, I had a coupon for a free birthday arrangement.” Dawn shared. “When I went to pick it up, I saw they were looking for seasonal help. So, I started working here. I love it.”
After nine years as an employee, Dawn’s children had grown up, and she was looking for her next chapter in life. “I reached out to the owner of this store asking if he’d be interested in selling. He told me to make him an offer, and that’s how it came to be.”
